Serdar KARAKUŞ completed his master’s degree at Sakarya University and his undergraduate education at Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration. In 2002, he started his professional life with the accounting department in Ankara Metropolitan Municipality subsidiaries,

Between 2003-2010, he continued as an accounting manager in a large-scale accounting company in Istanbul.

Since 2010, he has 12 years of VAT-Audit-Audit-Certification-Consultancy experience as Audit Manager in Audit and Certified Public Accountancy companies.

In 2023, as a founding partner in his own company VerTax Consulting | Audit | Tax | CPA Company, he provides services in Audit, Consulting, Tax Planning and Qualified Trade Registry.

Serdar KARAKUŞ is also an active member of ISMMMO Istanbul Chamber of Certified Public Accountants and ISMMMD- Istanbul CPA Association and many non-governmental organizations.

He has dozens of published articles on accounting and e-transformation. He has participated as a speaker and panelist in more than 20 seminars on financial legislation and e-transformation and Withholding & Social Security applications.

He is married and has 4 children.
